Amendementen voor PvdA Amsterdam West
Hieronder mijn mijn amendementen voor programma 2010

Amendment 1:
In passage "Vuil van de straat"
Na de woorden: " Kwetsbare graffiti wordt binnen 24 uur het stadsdeel verwijderd. Andere graffiti binnen een week"
komt:
"Volgens de verzoek van bewoners, als graffiti creëert een positive beeld voor de bepaalde gebouw of wijk, of zoals graffiti een culturele waarde heeft kan dan stadsdeel een graffiti beschermen"
Toelichting:
De graffiti kunst is onlangs een serieus onderdeel van cultureel leven geworden.Graffiti werken van sommige kunstenaars zoals Banksy zijn door de Internationale kunstbeleid erkent als modern classicus. Sommige werken zijn zelf door UNESCO erkend
Amsterdam hebt een historische imago van de stad die is kust vriendelijk is.

Amendment 2
In de passage "Groen, water en recreatie":
Volgende voorstel ik additionele punt in de onderdeel "concreet" :
"* Alle parken in de stadsdeel moeten aanwezig zijn voor publiek 24 huur per dag, 7 dag per week zonder beperkingen. In geval van nood de politie bewaking moet installeert zijn voor de bescherming tegen het straatcriminaliteit"
Toelichting: Niet alle parken in de buurt zijn of bent openbaar geweest voor bewooners dags en nachts. Sluiten van park voor normale bewoners is niet een beste oplossing tegen hufterig gedrag van klein deel mensen.

Amendement 3
In de passage "Bereikbaar met auto en OV" additioneel punt in de onderdeel "concreet":
"* De zonegrens van openbaar vervoer die loopt nu in het middel van de stadsdeel West moet zo spoedig mogelijk vernietigd of verplatst zijn"
Toelichting:
Het zondegrens die momenteel loopt rond Admiral de Ruiterweg, en Haarlemeerweg. Die grens deelt een stadsdeel in twee en maakt centrum van de stad moelijk bereikbaar voor bewoners van sommige buurten en wijken.

Amendement 4
In de passage "Ouders voeden op en doen mee"
In de onderdeel "Concreet" na de woorden "ouders aanspreken op hun verantwoordelijkheid en het gedrag van hun kinderen" voorstel ik:
"behalve de situaties vaneer kinderen zijn buiten controle van ouders gegaan, of zelfs tegen eigen ouders"
Toelichting: Sommige ouders zijn zelf slachtoffers van misdrijf vanuit eigen kinderen. Die hebben hulp van autoriteiten nodig.

Amendement 5
In de passage "Nee tegen huifterig gedrag"
In de zin begint met woorden "Intimidierend gedrag op straat etc.." worden "naroepen van vrouwen en homo's" moeten veranderd zijn met "naroepen van van homo's, minderheiden, en andere bewoners".
Toelichting: niet allen homo's en vrouwen zijn slachtoffers van huifterig gedrag, discriminatie tegen elke soort gropen moet onacceptabel zijn. Intimidatie van vrouwen en homo's is groot probleem en kan niet accepteert zijn, maar wij moeten rekening houden dat in sommige wijken van de Amsterdam West is ook de intimidatie tegen andere minderheden aangemeld.

Amendement 6
In de passage "Weinig inkomen , wel meedoen";
In de "concreet" voorstel ik volgende additonele punt:
"* Verschillende maatregelen tegen de schuldsanering van kleischadige schuldenaars, inclusief een gemeentelijke kredieten voor korte tijd. Betere controle van bewindvoerder en, als nodig is, bescherming van schuldenaars tegen de willekeurige of oenwettelijke acties van schuldeisers"
Toelichting:
Op dit moment die kan zijn effectieve maatregelen te voorkomen compleet persoonlijk en zakenlijk falliciement van schuldeisers

Amendement 7
In de passage " Integratie = meedoen + meetellen"
Verandering van naam tot "Integratie en diversiteit. Meedoen en meetelen"
Toelichting: PvdA steunt actief integratie van minderheiden, maar ons partij is ook trots van diversiteit die wij hebben in onze stad. Die sterke respect van dit diversiteit moet volgens mijn aanwezig zijn in de programma.

Amendement 8
In de passage " Integratie = meedoen + meetellen"
De zin "Nieuwkomers moet de Nederlandse taal beheersen" moet veranderd zijn met
"kennis van Nederlands is een basis van integratie. Mensen die bijstand vragen van de staat moeten Nederlandse taal beheersen"
Toelichting: Kennis van Nederlands kan niet verplichting zijn voor iedereen. Amsterdam, en onze stadsdeel natuurlijk, is de cosmopolite wereldstad, waar wonen verschillende soort mensen voor verschillende reden. Hier zijn Internationale expaten bijvoorbeeld, de mensen die voor werk, zaken of politieke reden tijdelijk hier wonen. Als die mensen vragen geen geld, uitkering of andere vorm van bijstand vanuit de openbare kas , van gemeente of van staat, dan ze hebben en recht zelf vrij te beperken als ze hebben nood van Nederlandse taal of niet.
Verplichte taal kennis in dit geval is een oversteking van privé grens.

Amendement 9
In de passage " Integratie = meedoen + meetellen"
Onderdeel "concreet"
In de zin "Actief doorbreken van het maatschappelijk isolement van allochtone ouderen..."
De word "allochton" moet veranderd zijn met "traditionalistisch"
Toelichting:Niet alleen allochtonen zijn isoleert vanwege de eigen traditionalisme in onze stad. Bovendien de woord "allohton" is onlangs gemarginaliseerd door de gebruik van verschillende populisten, nationalistische groepen en extreem rechts. Daardoor wenselijk is dit word vanuit woordenboek van PvdA af te nemen.

Amendement 10.

n de passage " Integratie = meedoen + meetellen"
Onderdeel "concreet"
Voorstel ik volgende additionele punt:
"* PvdA Amsterdam West erkend wel dat integratie een twee richting verkeer is. Daardoor acceptieren wij niet discriminatie op de werkplaats of met stage mogelijkheden; wij acceptieren ook geen afwezigging of afscheid van klanten in openbare locaties en in de horeca op de basis van hun etnische achtergrond, gezicht, of beloof"
Toelichting: Dit is wel erkend dat integratie is verantwoordelijkheid van de personen die hier komen wonen. Maar onlangs zijn aantal signalen gekomen (inclusief de recente rapport van adviesraad diversiteit en Integratie, ref. Anke Verlaan) met alarm over het selectie voor werk en stage op de basis van afkomst; sommige horeca's en openbare locatie pesten de klanten van niet Europees afkomst af. Dit is niet acceptbaar.
Alle burgers en bewoners, ongezien hun afkomst en etnische achtergrond moeten vergelijke kansen hebben voor werk en gezelligheid

Amendement 11
In de passage "Idereen kiest zijn eigen leven"
In de onderdeel "concreet"
In de zin "aan de slag met jongeren om een halt te roepen aan het openlijk op de straat discriminineren, beledigen en lastvallen van homo's en vrowen".
Voorsteel ik afwissen van woorden "jongeren" en ook woorden " homo's en vrowen".
Toelichting: Jammer genoeg de openbare leven in het Nederland is laatste tijd geradicaliseert. Een deel van de probleem zijn de niet integriede migrante jongeren van ismaitische afkomst wie homo's en vrouwen helaas in openbaar bestoken. Dit is niettemin een kant van de munt: in de laastste jaren activisieert ook extreem rechts hier.
De PvdA beschermt niet allen homo's en vrowen van de discriminatie, maar alle bewoners van de buurt.

Amendement 12
In de passage "Ondernemend en werkzaam"
Voorstel ik graag volgende niuewe punt in de "Concreet"
"Geen onderneming in Amsterdam West kan willekurig gesloten zijn door de actie van stadsdeel of de gemeente, als dit onderneming zich aan de regels houdt"
Toelichting: verschilendeondernemingen in Amsterdam West, meestal Internet cafe's, die houden zich aan de regels hebben een opdracht ontwangen van stadsdelen om eigen zaak te sluiten omdat stadsdeel andere plannen hebt voor economische ontwikkeling van de wijk of de straat waar onderneming was opgerecht.

neocons gone mad
Seems like neocons are gone completely mad: I've checked the news sites, and found the outrage about Obama's yesterday's speech on education. Funny but neocons began objecting it even before prez opened his mouth, just after the speech appeared at the white house web page. There is nothing special in the actual speech as a matter of fact, in was a boring in a way
Mr. Obama just said something like: hey, be a good students, don't miss yous class, focus on your study etc, etc
I wounder what conservatives were expecting him to say? "Bring a gun the class, shoot your teacher, be a bully?"
I guess this was how most of them remember their own school. No wonder W. could not even say "nuclear".
By the way who is the current chief of this horde of Neanderthals anyway? Since most of previous administration is gone hiding from press and public, plus few normal guys like Colin Powell are run off, and McCain and Palin were to civil for them who is now running the show? I heard their leader is currently some former radio DJ who's bodyguards nickname is Joseph Stalin, is that true?...Nice....

Having written the emotional post below it is time to think what can be changed. Pointing the problems without offering a solution is absolutely counter-productive.
So what can PES change if election will be successful.
-All European citizens should be protected from emerging threat of poverty: the minimal level of maintenance ensuring accommodation, food, medical care and education for minors shall be guaranteed for all citizens of all EU members states disregard the credit record, health conditions, criminal or work record.
-Creating the efficient system of professional rehabilitation for temporary unemployed and low income Europeans including professional and new language re-education programmes, the flexible system of credit for free lance activity and new enterprises, combined with publicly available sponsorship and investment opportunities in innovations and socio-cultural activity
-Tax or social security fraud shall be punishable by law and not by denial of social security facility shall person require them.
-No excessive financial penalties shall be imposed without taking the family income situation in the consideration.
-The social rights shall be presented clearly and efficiently to all citizens and officials in all parts of the Union.
-The effective system of checks and balances protecting families from homelessness, from loss of health insurance and from loss education opportunity in case of bankruptcy or debt shall be imposed immediately.
-The financial profiling and income based limitations for international marriage, family unification or choice of residence were imposed in some EU countries shall be removed unconditionally.
-All taxation including social contributions and municipal taxes shall be based on income level. No fixed rates shall apply .
-The effective system of work place safety and employee rights protection shall be set anew protecting the workforce around the continent disregard their contract status, to prevent the contact manipulation by employers. Currently big number of employers prefer to hire their employees as independent, free - lance or temporary (interim) personnel for many reasons. To protect the workforce without bringing down businesses the free lancers, and interim workers shall have similar level of social protection as personnel at permanent contract in all EU countries
-Establishing effective system of support and tax relief for businesses who provide new workplaces or attract new investments.This should include medium and small (less then 10 employees) businesses
-Where - ever possible removing restrictions and offer maximal support for legitimate foreign businesses and business people who are planning to invest, offer innovations or provide work places at the European market.

Before it's too late
Middle aged office worker was fired from his job, went home, opened a few letters from debt collectors threatening legal action, read the eviction note, took his gun, shot his dog, shot his wife child and himself...
When and where did it happen? The ironic part is that we are getting used to those stories. From Scandinavia to Mediterranean shores, from former Soviet states who hoped to have a better life decade ago to the rocks Atlantic cost such stories are filling in the newspapers; they are not making headlines anymore-unless another unfortunate who lost his home, job, future, saving would take on the VIP in the rage of desperation like it happened in Holland recently.
For more then half a century people in Europe knew: if work hard, if you commit yourself to your task, if you will contribute to society you will get your fair share. May be not by becoming a millionaire but at least you will be free from a most destructive fear which cursed Europe from millenniums-fear of poverty, fear of hunger fear of need...
Not any more.
The average salary or income of free lancer in Europe is 2000 euro, 2500 max, while most people get less.
The "mandatory" private health insurance which most conservative governments so willingly forced to the people cost 100 or 200 per month, while they don't even cover the basic package.
Your rent or mortgage which seemed such a good deal in 1998 when you got it, now costs 75% of your salary, while your house price went down and you are in debt even if you sell it. Sounds familiar? I don't know many families who pay less the at least 1000 euro for accommodation? Telephone, Internet, and, worse of all-the energy costs are taking off another 500-600 a month. You are late with payment? You will have debt collector at your door within a week claiming twice the amount. So you barely make an ends meet for a few years already, sometimes even not being able to save enough money for food... And if God forbid you make a mistake like will get yourself a speed ticket (200E or so) will make a mistake in tax declaration or else, then say good buy to your savings.
But as long as job goes on, you carry on. Then one day you receive a letter that your job is now gone with a wind, because the Big Corporation Inc where you used to work is now officially bankrupt. Good bye and "we sincerely wish you success with new employment".
From 100 employment agencies which you might visit 99 will also wish you a good luck with job seeking in a same letter where they will tell you that "although you have strong points in your CV the other candidates match job profile more." And the last one will simply ignore you pretending you don't exist.
The social contribution takes 100-200 per month for you "social security": don't ever expect this money back, most people who are jobless around the continent are subject to various sadistic harassment from social workers; depending on the social workers fantasy. The treatment of welfare receivers in many EU countries, especially those who have conservatives in charge is not much different then treatment of the criminals on parole. And God forbid pure champ form say selling even piece of metal or trying to earn extra Euro for a family like we have seen in a Full Monty. You will be down and out for violation of rules in no time.
And forget any sympathy form society. If you happen to be "self employed" situation is even worse. You have "chosen" to be self employed they will say, so forget any social benefits. Have problems, your house price went down, your mortgage went up, and your invoices are cancelled? Well it is your choice so screw you.
To save readers time and energy I will spare the story of those who happen to be .. natives of the countries, far away from Europe and had lost job or income recently.
You trying to find an answer with municipality, with social workers with colleagues. "If you have problems it is your fault" they say, if you were thrown out from your house, our lost your job it is a consequence of your own mistakes, so pay for it. You trying to get answers in TV, in movie in the books but Hollywood generated pop culture just pointing finger on you and saying "you are a loser!". Does it surprise you that some people who feel like the World came to the end are pointing weapon against own self?
I wonder what happens to those who don't... Increasing crime rates combined with increasing unemployment rates and increasing prices possible give the answer.
By the way I assume we all care about environment; but let's say if after all this above someone will offer you a job in some obviously nasty company which polluting nature big time.... Will you accept or proudly reject the deal?
This is a life of average European today in 2009, in the time of unthinkable technological development, decades after the end of Cold war and half a century from last World War.
Will social democrats from PES change this? We don't know but what we know they are only ones who honestly arguing for change. Most conservative liberal parties are simply saying that problem is that their ideas were not implemented to the proper scale. We had not enough wild and nontransparent privatisation of public services (including even a water pipes), not enough rigid and "law and order" with zero tolerance, not enough border control, not enough militarization and police surveillance. Thanks but I think we had enough. You can not get our of hole by digging
So we need to give change a chance. We don't know if PES will let us down breaking their promise and letting Europe sink deeper into the poverty, bankruptcy and social division, or will manage to give us a fresh start and solution.
But to find out we need to give them a chance.
So that's why we decides to do what we can , artistically or otherwise to make sure that all people who might listen would go and vote for more social Europe at June 7th...

When and where did it happen? The ironic part is that we are getting used to those stories. From Scandinavia to Mediterranean shores, from former Soviet states who hoped to have a better life decade ago to the rocks Atlantic cost such stories are filling in the newspapers; they are not making headlines anymore-unless another unfortunate who lost his home, job, future, saving would take on the VIP in the rage of desperation like it happened in Holland recently.
For more then half a century people in Europe knew: if work hard, if you commit yourself to your task, if you will contribute to society you will get your fair share. May be not by becoming a millionaire but at least you will be free from a most destructive fear which cursed Europe from millenniums-fear of poverty, fear of hunger fear of need...

The average salary or income of free lancer in Europe is 2000 euro, 2500 max, while most people get less.
The "mandatory" private health insurance which most conservative governments so willingly forced to the people cost 100 or 200 per month, while they don't even cover the basic package.
Your rent or mortgage which seemed such a good deal in 1998 when you got it, now costs 75% of your salary, while your house price went down and you are in debt even if you sell it. Sounds familiar? I don't know many families who pay less the at least 1000 euro for accommodation? Telephone, Internet, and, worse of all-the energy costs are taking off another 500-600 a month. You are late with payment? You will have debt collector at your door within a week claiming twice the amount. So you barely make an ends meet for a few years already, sometimes even not being able to save enough money for food... And if God forbid you make a mistake like will get yourself a speed ticket (200E or so) will make a mistake in tax declaration or else, then say good buy to your savings.
But as long as job goes on, you carry on. Then one day you receive a letter that your job is now gone with a wind, because the Big Corporation Inc where you used to work is now officially bankrupt. Good bye and "we sincerely wish you success with new employment".
From 100 employment agencies which you might visit 99 will also wish you a good luck with job seeking in a same letter where they will tell you that "although you have strong points in your CV the other candidates match job profile more." And the last one will simply ignore you pretending you don't exist.
The social contribution takes 100-200 per month for you "social security": don't ever expect this money back, most people who are jobless around the continent are subject to various sadistic harassment from social workers; depending on the social workers fantasy. The treatment of welfare receivers in many EU countries, especially those who have conservatives in charge is not much different then treatment of the criminals on parole. And God forbid pure champ form say selling even piece of metal or trying to earn extra Euro for a family like we have seen in a Full Monty. You will be down and out for violation of rules in no time.
